»ultimi fuochi - second edition« - Background and Order-Information's

At the moment, we are trying to distribute the DVD »ultimi fuochi - second edition« all over the globe. As in the first edition, on the DVD there are two movies, one of 52 min., one of 26 min (the second one only subtitled in English and German; the first one now with German, English, French, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Slovak and Turkish subtitles). Furthermore, an English booklet is available now.

This booklet corresponds to the German one, though some parts have been improved and expanded. Some parts of the movie itself have been improved, too.

We write you now to ask you if you yourselves want to order some of them, but also to ask you if you know distributors in other parts of the world: Latin America ? France ? Poland ? Romania ? Russia ? Ex-Yugoslavia? Spain ? Turkey ? England ? USA ? (Caution, they don't have PAL! The DVD is in PAL, not NTSC -- all American countries use NTSC, except Brasil , Argentina , Paraguay , Uruguay ) but the DVD can be watched on a PC or laptop, of course. » Romania «, e.g., doesn't necessarily mean inside that nation state, due to migration it could also mean Italy or Spain , the same goes for Italian, Spanish, Turkish etc.

Two weeks ago we had a presentation in Austria where we discussed about state repression, workers' autonomy, the failure of those 'autonomous' concepts of countervailing power in the 80s, the diverse approaches toward armed struggle in the 1970s - and finally about experiences in wage labour. At other meetings we only discussed about migration and class re-composition, again at others about »ecology«. All those discussions can be started by showing this movie, the enclosed booklet contains sufficient information for everyone to set up a presentation on their own. Plus, there is further material available at the English section of www.wildcat-www.de (Interview with Steve Wright, two parts 'The Renascence of Workerism/Operaismo' etc.).

The movie is not fomenting, it's no 'Agitprop', this makes it necessary to hold an introduction. It also proved wise to have a contribution to just *one* issue after showing the movie (e.g. workers' utonomy). We are about to assemble a reader with our papers in German. If you are interested, we can send it per email.

We still have a few first edition DVDs (subtitles in English, German, French, Polish), so we would like to 'mix', e.g. first DVD with English booklet for countries with English as a common language.
