Die staatlichen Universitäten von Paraná sind im Streik gegen den Abbau des öffentlichen höheren Bildungswesens

In den letzten Jahren hat die Regierung von Paraná-Brasilien, in der Person von Jaime Lerner als Governeur den öffentlichen Dienst in Privatunternehmen ungewandelt. Von der Agrarpolitik ( z. B. MST/Pr ) bis zur Privatisierung von Telepar, von den staatlichen Autobahnen ist Lerner jetzt mit grosser Vehemenz bei den öffentlichen Universitätn von Paraná angekommen.

Die Universitäten von Paraná tradizionell öffentlicher und kultureller Besitz des Staates sind seit dem 31. Mai in Streik, ihre Mitarbeiter kämpfen darum ihre Gehälter wiederzubekommen und für bessere Arbeitsbedingungen. In diesem letzten fünf Jahren haben die Bediensteten ungefähr 40% ihres Gehaltes verloren und heute kämpfen wir damit diese 41,14% an uns zurückgegeben werden. Wir kämpfen auch gegen den Abbau von Stellen und Geld Mitteln an den öffentlichen Universitäten des Staates inklusiv 11 einzeln Fakultäten.

Was macht Herr Jaime Lerner? Weiss er dies? Er weiss es !! Aber er zieht es vor, folgend den Beispiel des Präsidenten des Landes, Erfolg zu haben in und ausserhalb Brasiliens als moderner Governeur. Während er mit internationalen Unternehmen Verabredungen trifft, ignoriert und greiff er die öffentlichen Besitzungen des höheren Unterichtswesens an.
Wie der Präsident Fernando H. Cardoso unterwarf sich Lerner den Beschluss des International Währungsfonds und verkauft unser Leben und unsere Zukunft als Bürger dieses Staats und als Brasiliener.
Lerner hat uns nicht einmal in Curitiba empfangen: er schickte den Staats-Sekretär für Wissenschaft und Technologie, Ramiro Wahrhaftig, der seiner Seits den Stellvertreten den Sekretär schickte, uns als Bürger nicht respektierend.

Unser Kampf ist gerecht: es ist ein Kampf nicht nur für die Gegenwart der Universität sonder auch für ihre Zukunft. Jedes Land weiss, dass es seinen kulturellen und wissenschaftlichen Besitz erhalten muss.

Unterstützen Sie den Kampf der IES und der Streikenden Beamten von Paraná. Das alles hat mit Ihnen zu tun. Die Regierungen verschwinden, aber das Land und seine Bürger bleiben.

AS UNIVERSIDADES ESTADUAIS DO PARANá ESTAO EM GREVE CONTRA O DESMONTE DO ENSINO PúBLICO SUPERIOR

Nos últimos anos, o Governo do Paraná û Brasil, na pessoa de Jaime Lerner como governador, transformou os serviços públicos em territórios privados.

Da política agrária (vide o MST/PR) às privatizaçoes da Telepar, das rodovias estaduais, agora, Lerner chegou com mais ferocidade às Universidades Públicas do Paraná. As IES do Paraná, historicamente patrimônios públicos e culturais do Estado, estao em greve desde o dia 31 de maio, seus trabalhadores estao em luta para recuperar seus salários e melhores condiçoes de trabalho.

Nesses últimos cinco anos os servidores perderam cerca de 40% de seus salários e, hoje, lutamos para que os 41,14% retornem a nós. Lutamos também contra o desmonte das universidades públicas do Estado incluindo 11 faculdades isoladas.

O que faz o senhor Jaime Lerner? Ele sabe disso? Sabe! Mas prefere, seguindo exemplo do presidente do país, fazer sucesso no Brasil e fora dele como governador moderno. Enquanto estabelece compromissos com empresas multinacionais, ignora e ataca os patrimônios públicos de ensino superior. Como o presidente Fernando Henrique, Lerner submeteu-se à carta do FMI e negocia nossas vidas e nosso futuro como cidadao deste Estado e como brasileiros.

Lerner sequer nos recebe em Curitiba: manda o secretário da Ciência e Tecnologia, Ramiro Wahrhaftig que, por sua vez, manda secretário substituto, desrespeitando-nos como cidadaos. Nossa luta é justa: é uma luta nao só pelo presente, mas também pelo futuro das nossas Instituiçoes de Ensino Superior. Qualquer país sabe que precisa manter seu patrimônio cultural e científico.

THE STATE UNIVERSITIES OF PARANá ARE ALL ON STRIKE AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT THAT IS WORKING TO DISMANTLE THE PUBLIC SUPERIOR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.

Over the last years ParanáÆs government, (Brazil), personally the Governor Jaime Lerner as the one, has transformed the public services into private territories. From agricultural policy (see MST/Pr) to the privatization of the telephone company (telepar) and the state roads, Lerner has come more ferociously to the public Universities now.

The Superior Teaching Institution (STI), historically a public cultural patrimony of the state, has been on strike since last 31st Its workers are struggling in the attempt of getting their salaries recuperated and a better working condition as well. Over the last five years the state public servers have lost around 40% of their salaries and, currently, theyÆre all trying to get back 41,14% of losses. Their fight goes farther against the dismantling of the state Universities including 11 colleges around the state of Paraná.

What is Jaime LernerÆs attitude toward it? Is he aware of that? Of course he is, but he ignores it completely, preferring to follow the *PresidentÆs track .He is trying to get a promotion of himself in and out of the country as fashionable one. While he establishes some commitment with multinational companies he simply goes against the public patrimonies of superior educational system. As the president FERNANDO HENRIQUE CARDOSO (*president of Brazil) has done before, the Governor of Paraná has undergone and resigned under the wills of IMF ( International Monetary Fund) and he trades state citizenÆ lives and future. Lerner even accepts to sit down with the representatives of the institutions to try to come to an agreement; he makes himself be represented by his secretary of technology (Ramiro) who again makes himself be represented by another sub secretary with no power at all. Actually it is disrespect over the human rights.

This fight is surely fair not only for the current care in the maintenance of the public educational system but also for the care of its future as it is the citizenÆs cultural and scientific patrimony. We are all begging for your support to our struggling. As human beings it has a lot to do with you, for the Governors go by, but the country and its people remain going their way.
